Had to happen sooner or later. After three good flights, my poor Shuttle has encountered the ground. I was doing some figure-8s and, at the 2/3 nose in position, I lost my brain-thumb interface. That, coupled with lack of positive pitch, led to a rapid descent followed by a sudden stop.
All in all, it wasn’t too bad. No major frame damage and all the electronics and expensive linkages are fine. Still, it’ll take the better part of 10 hours to rebuild.
